Effective July 1, 2008 we started using a new emial and texting system to notify you of emergency situations, events, important messages, and special announcements about our district and your individual school. Please sign up for Ed Alert if you have not already done so.
Elementary parent squads are to make courtesy calls early in the fall to test the phone chain. Parents are asked to keep emergency numbers current.

Late openings (2 hour delay) due to inclement weather will also be announced by Ed Alert, radio and TV. If the closing is limited to several or one school, the phone squad (elementary only) will make notifications as well.
Parents must take responsibility for making arrangements for the safety of their youngsters in the event that there is no one at home when a child arrives home, and for making certain that the youngsters understand these arrangements.
Each year parents will receive an emergency authorization card which should be completed and returned immediately. The information is used to contact you or your authorized designee should an emergency arise. Notify the school office of any changes.
