Objectives :

  • to use and correctly cite a variety of sources in order to formulate a well developed research project
  • to enhance your understanding of a subject matter related to events that occurred in The View from Saturday

Directions :

  • After carefully reading all research choices, select a topic that interests you the most
  • You will cite at least ten facts about your topic from the appropriate websites
  • You are then going to create an information brochure about your topic and how it is connected to The View from Saturday
    • **A brochure is a pamphlet that includes information on a particular subject matter
  • Your brochure will include the following:
    • A cover with your name, your topic, class period, and the date it will be handed in
    • One paragraph, which you will title Informative Paragraph , that incorporates the ten facts you learned from your research
    • One paragraph, which you will title Novel Connection Paragraph , that shows how your topic is connected to The View from Saturday
    • Proper citations for all sources used (including graphics)
    • A minimum of three relevant visuals from the researched websites
    • Colors to enhance your brochure
