Your S.A. Card is your ticket to a great year of fun and excitement at Brooklawn. They are sold during all lunch periods during the second and third weeks of school (prior to the Welcome Back Dances), after that you need to see Mr. Miller in B-16 before or after school to purchase one.
Students that hold valid S.A. Cards for the current school year are eligible to receive all the following benefits:
- One free or reduced price ADVANCE ticket to regular Brooklawn dances. Whether tickets will be free or reduced price is at the discretion of the Student Council Executive Board and/or General Assembly. THIS BENEFIT DOES NOT APPLY TO TICKETS PURCHASED AT THE DOOR!
- $2.00 OFF your Brooklawn yearbook. To receive this discount, you must buy your yearbook during the first week of yearbook sales. Yearbooks are delivered in June, during the last week of school.
- $3.00 OFF each eighth grade S.A. Trip, to Medieval Times in early December and to Dorney Park in early June. Permission forms for these trips are handed out several months in advance.
- $3.00 OFF one ADVANCE ticket for the Almost Midnight Barbecue and for the eighth grade Last Blast Dance. The Almost Midnight Barbecue/Dance is held in May and features the annual "Say What Karaoke" Contest, while the Last Blast Dance is held in June. THIS BENEFIT DOES NOT APPLY TO TICKETS PURCHASED AT THE DOOR!
- FREE admission to varsity sports at both Parsippany Hills and Parsippany High School. This benefit does not apply to state tournament games.
Used to its full potential, you can save over $50.00 throughout the school year. S.A. Cards for 2011-2012 are only $12.00 for all students, and will be on sale at all lunch periods from September 13-23 ONLY. After September 23, you will have to see Mr. Miller in B-16 to purchase one. Be sure to always carry your S.A. Card, because you must actually show it to receive these benefits. There is a $5.00 replacement cost for any lost or stolen S.A. Card.
