The ESL program (English as a Second Language) at Eastlake will begin classes on Tuesday, the 17th of September. All ESL students in grades 1-5 from all elementary schools in the district will be once again attending a theater field trip (date and program still to be determined). This is a wonderful language based cultural experience for all.

The 11 Eastlake students that attended the ESL summer school held in July had a great time reading, writing, playing sports and having fun while improving all of their English language skills. They joined a total of 105 beginning level ESL students in grades K-11 who were able to receive additional language instruction thanks to funding from the government.
