The speech department at Lake Hiawatha School is engaged in providing evaluation, therapy and consultative services to children from Preschool through grade 5. Children are involved in small group, individual, classroom and consultative interventions.

Children in the preschool program will be working on speech and language skills through activities within thematic units. These include; Spring, insects, senses, zoo/farm aniamls, etc. They will be involved in cooperative play activities and some field trips.
