From The Student Council

Our school mascot: the Lake Hiawatha Hawks:

We welcomed our representatives from each 3, 4, and 5 grade class. We also had our annual elections for our 2010-2011 officers.

Each candidate did an outstanding job creating posters and writing a campaign speech. They should all be proud of themselves!

This year, the Student Council will play an important role in our school’s Anti-Bullying program. The students will help sort and put up the Footprints of Respect in our auditorium. Next time you visit, look for the numerous footprints our students earn each and every day!
