MEDIA CENTER STAFF:

Mrs. Lupia-Fugere - Media Specialist

Mrs. Hogan - Media Secretary

The Troy Hills School Media program strives to develop information skills and inspire a lifetime love for reading in all students. Students are encouraged to read/experience quality books that are at or above their ability level and to read from many genres such as mystery/science/historical/realistic fiction, poetry, folk literature, and biographies/autobiographies. This practice will allow them to develop their tastes and see what types of reading they enjoy most. They will also be reading various award winning books throughout the year.

The Troy Hills Media program also incorporates emerging technology to prepare students to function in an information age. Students in grades 2-5 will learn how to navigate and utilize our online catalog as well as that of Morris County, learn how to search an online encyclopedia (and various databases) and evaluate the authenticity of a website.
