Troy Hills School is a very special place! We are one large community of learners, with students, staff and parents who all work together to ensure that our children feel comfortable learning new skills and concepts, and applying this newly acquired knowledge in a variety of ways. Our staff members work towards planning differentiated learning activities that address the needs of our students, who possess a diverse range of learning styles. We are a caring community, in which we focus upon many positive character traits, as we help our students make positive and healthy choices within their lives. Students are encouraged to show respect for themselves, others and for their school. We have a very supportive and generous PTA who provides our children with many wonderful experiences and activities, including an excellent array of cultural arts programs. We are proud of our amazing students, our terrific “Troy Hills Tigers!”
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
- If your child will be absent or late to school, please call our Child Safe line and leave a message with the information. If your child arrives to school late, you must park your car and walk with your child to the main office, and then sign your child in, before the student may go to the classroom.
- No vehicles may be left idling on school grounds. Parents dropping off or picking up children involved in the SKIP program, or any other activities, must park their cars in regular parking spots, and then escort their children in or out of the building.
- Please be sure to follow all arrival and dismissal parking lot rules, and to exercise extreme caution when driving in or out of our school grounds. Kindergarten and first graders, who do not ride school buses, must be picked up at the flagpole area daily. They may not walk unattended past that area.
***If there will be a change to your child's normal dismissal procedure, you must submit a written, signed note to our school. If you are planning a play date for your child, and another child's parent will be picking up your child, both parents must send in written, signed notes ahead of time!
Please remember to check out our website at http://www.pthsd.k12.nj.us for more information and updates about our district, as well as our own school!
