What is HSPA?
HSPA is an acronym for High School Proficiency Assessment. It is a
statewide test that all eleventh graders in New Jersey take in order
to demonstrate their proficiency in Language Arts Literacy (LAL) and
Mathematics (MT).

SRA Basics:
SRA is an acronym for Special Review Assessment. The SRA is available
only to seniors who received “partially proficient”
either in Math or Language Arts Literacy on the HSPA taken in March
of the Junior Year. PHHS schedules seniors in need of the SRA process
specially to make sure the SRA is completed by March 31 of the senior’s
graduation year. This way, PHHS is able to help the student meet
all graduation requirements.
