..Welcome to Lake Hiawatha School

Built in 1951, Lake Hiawatha School offers an excellent instructional program that addresses the needs of its culturally diverse student body. The teachers and staff motivate and challenge students in pre-kindergarten thru fifth grade and provide a safe and nurturing environment.

Also housed in the Lake Hiawatha School is the district’s Preschool Program that provides both half-day and extended day programs for children ages three-five. In a supportive, nurturing environment, academic, social and behavioral needs are individualized and addressed.
