I am honored and humbled to serve as President of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education for the 2023 term. The nine members of your Board of Education are dedicated public servants, elected by registered voters of Parsippany-Troy Hills Township, who are committed to serving the children and community of Parsippany-Troy Hills. In 2023, the Board of Education will continue to make the Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District the best that it can be. Parsippany is a diverse community that celebrates different cultures, which makes the Parsippany Troy-Hills Township School District a model district within Morris County.
The Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District comprises ten elementary, two middle, and two high schools. The district is led by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Barbara Sargent, and her team of esteemed educators and staff. In 2023, according to Niche.com, a website that publishes ratings concerning the quality of educational institutions, towns, and businesses, Parsippany-Troy Hills Township School District was ranked as the #35 out of 243 “Best School Districts in New Jersey.”
Members of the current Board have attended our schools, had children who graduated from Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Schools, or have children/grandchildren who currently attend our schools. Our decisions affect not only your family but our own as well.
I encourage you to become an active participant in your child’s education. Join your child’s school PTA, volunteer your time and talents, and be a mentor. Most importantly, stay informed of the happenings not only in your school but within the district. Help make Parsippany-Troy Hills an even better place for children to learn and grow!
