UPDATE AS OF APRIL 28, 2025.

If your child is turning 3 or 4 years old by October 1, 2025 and a resident of Parsippany-Troy Hills, they are eligible for our Preschool Program.

Our Preschool classes are held at Lake Hiawatha Elementary School and Littleton Elementary School. Classes for 3 year old children are held from 9:00am to 11:30am and classes for 4 year old children are held from 12:30pm to 3:00pm. There is no transportation for this preschool program.

Important Information Before You Register:

• Registration is completed over the phone by appointment. Please do not come to the Board of Education Building expecting to meet with any staff members.

• Please read and follow the steps below exactly. Failure to follow all instructions will jeopardize your ability to register.

• We have very limited spots in our preschool program especially in our 4-year-old program. If you do not get a spot, we will put you on a waiting list.

Preschool registration is completed through phone appointments. Appointments will be available to book starting on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 9:00am.

ONLY 1 appointment per family. Please do not make multiple phone appointments.

Please complete all the required paperwork below. Once completed, you will need to bring all your documents to the Board Office at 292 Parsippany Road.

Your documents should be in one envelope. On the front of the envelope please put your child's name and the date and time of your phone appointment. When you arrive at the Board Office, use the front entrance and drop your documents off in the preschool box on the table. You will be able to access the drop-off box from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday-Friday.

• Registration Form - Please print and have a parent complete.

• Physical Examination Form - Please print and have your child's doctor complete. 

• Health & Immunization Form - Please print and have a parent complete.

• A copy of a birth certificate or passport to establish proof of age.

• A copy of a lease, deed, or a current tax bill form your residence.

• TWO of the following additional documents: current copies of utility bill, telephone bill or bank statement.

• ALL children in the Preschool Program must be fully toilet trained and have independent toileting habits.

Important Note: We need to receive your forms and documents prior to your appointment date. We will not be able to conduct your appointment if we do not have your information and you will have to reschedule your appointment for a later date.

• Due to the high volume of people trying to schedule phone appointments at the same time, if you have issues accessing the site, please try multiple times. Appointments fill up very quickly.

• Please be prepared for our call. We will call your number at your appointment time. If you do not answer, we will try again 5 minutes later. If you do not answer the second time, we will move on to the next appointment and you will have to reschedule for a later date and time.

• DO NOT book more than one phone appointment.

• We need to have your completed forms and documents prior to the date of your phone appointment.

• Placement is on a first come, first serve basis and enrollment is very limited.
