From spooky crafts to homecoming interviews, students at Central Middle School are taking center stage behind the camera.
The Cougar News—CMS’s premier after-school broadcast club—has officially released its latest production, created in an ongoing partnership with Parsippany’s Video On The Go Network. The student-led club produces original, theme-driven video podcasts covering a wide range of subjects, school events, and creative content.
In their freshly launched Halloween episode, the student crew showcased both their crafting skills and broadcasting talents:
Halloween DIY: Students led a hands-on step-by-step tutorial demonstrating how to craft paper skeleton Halloween decorations.
Teacher Spotlight: The episode featured an exclusive interview with Mr. Pettinelli, who shared insights on his return to teach at CMS after several years working at the elementary level and at Brooklawn Middle School.
On-the-Street Interviews: Student reporters polled their peers on this season's most popular Halloween costumes and the latest movie releases.
Mummification of Mr. Gray: Students take a video as they "Mummify" Mr. Gray - Principal
Through their partnership with the Video On The Go Network, CMS students gain hands-on experience in scripting, interviewing, and video production, giving the local community an insider look at life inside Central Middle School.
